Formed in 2006, Fauve Conspiracy presented original theatrical works under the artistic direction of performance maverick Rachel Rosenthal during their brief, but exciting history.

Rosenthal’s unique
method integrates narrative, improvisation, choreography, text, multimedia, and wildly imaginative costumes that showcase the group’s imaginative, vanguard, and distinctive performance talents.

Like the Fauvists at the
beginning of last Century, Fauve Conspiracy’s “wild beast” auteurs innovate and surprise, crafting fresh stories and powerful images into unforgettable stage experiences for the 21st Century.

	FAUVE FACTS FAUVE rhymes with grove & trove. It means "wild animal/beast" in French, which originally meant "wild, reddish-yellow" Fauvism is an early-20th-century movement in painting begun by a group of French artists and marked by the use of bold, often distorted forms and vivid colors. Gustave Moreau was the Fauvism movement's inspirational teacher, whose top students were Henri Matisse and André Derain.
